Give Chartwells a chance!

"There is no sincerer love than the love of food" by George Bernard Shaw. This quote demonstrates the way we feel about food, anywhere we are. However, as we step foot inside of residential dining this is not the case. As a student and an observer it has come to my attention that the food served is continuously repeated throughout the day. I am able to prove such a thing because I have gone to dining repeatedly for a whole week, 3 times a day. It seems as if instead of recycling plastic and paper we are recycling food.
We now understand that the need to preserve is important because there is a lot of people that attend these meals regularly. But let’s not forget that managers and workers of Chartwells( foodservice company on campus) are doing their best to accommodate all of our needs as students. It is especially difficult when they receive complains daily. So how about for once we thank them for doing their job and feeding us daily. They need satisfaction in knowing that they are doing their job.  With that in mind let’s be grateful that we are at least getting food that is safe and thank them for serving us.

If you are intrested in sharing your opinion about the food on campus. Please join the Food Service Commitee  as we meet with Chartwells. Meetings are  held once a month at 1pm in the resdiental dining room. the following dates are when the food commitee meets .
-March 14th
April 4th
May 2nd
See you there
