Stress is evitable.
It’s like that overbearing neighbor who constantly drops by randomly, any time
of the day, just to say “hi” throughout the week.
Yes, stress can overwhelm
and walk all over us, unless we take action. Fortunately, there are many simple
ways we can reduce and cope with stress. The first major step is to focus in
and identify what’s actually stressing us out. It’s good to pinpoint your stressors
which help in organizing your priorities.
Allow some free time to exercise, relax, and do what makes
you feel good. With a great sense of humor and a lighthearted attitude,
stressful situations and events can go from being annoying to being amusing.
What I‘ve learned, is
that you need to embrace mistakes and don’t drown in perfectionism. Never feel like you are
alone with your problems. Chances are that
other people feel the same way too. Practicing moderation and creating balance in your life will give you an overall
wellness. Remember, the goal is to reduce
stress not eliminate it. A little bit of stress and tension can be beneficial
and often compels us to be productive and successful in life.
