Tips on How to Impress a Hiring Manager with Your Cover Letter!


To snag a fantastic job, one has to have an awesome resume, right? But with the economy now a day, you need to impress your future employer at a first glance! How can you do that? With a Cover Letter! Here are a few tips and tricks to make you stand out!

1. Make sure to include ALL of your contact information!

2. Follow-up with your employer’s information, you look more committed to the position, and it feels less like a generic letter.

3. Use a salutation. (Dear Mr. /Mrs.)

4. Adhere to specifics, and make it clear. This isn't the time to beat around the bush, keep it short, sweet and to the point!

5. Thank your prospective employer and have a closing statement.

Remember: A Cover Letter is often the first thing an employer sees when looking for new hires. With these tips, you’re sure to succeed!
