be rising. Many college students face challenges when it comes to income. Students struggle to buy food, gas, clothing and other everyday essentials. Here are a
few tips to help you be money savvy
1. Avoid impulse buys and clearance racks!
2. Check out the flea market and thift stores like Amvets for clothing and more
3. Stock up buy in bulk .Shop with friends and save a lot!
4. Check your receipt to find out your weekly spending
5. Get an online savings account. Most of them are FREE!
6. Have emergency money. Use for emergencies ONLY!
7. Use Pandora to listen to music! It’s free!
8. Eat generic brands .Name brand foods are too expensive
9. skip the vending machine.Make your own snacks (trail mix and/or granola)

Thank you very much for this advice. I'm a very big fan of eating just name brands not generic especially when it comes to tomato sauce and paste. I always prefer Hunts brand over Goya or even Tops brand and this is really good for students living off campus like myself
